Geneva2000TM Tools For Doctors & Dental Technicians
The Alameter is a vital instrument for both the doctor?s office and the dental technician. The Alameter measures the ala to ala distance of the nose. The distance represents the width of the six anterior segment of the teeth. This classifies the arch width, and the size of Geneva 2000 teeth. Research shows that this is accurate 96% of the time and is more accurate than any other methods used to select the width of the Anterior Arch. The Alameter also has the guide to select the exact mold that will best be used for your male or female patients. Instructions for the use of this instrument are written directly on the instrument.
In the dental office treatment room the doctor spends
a lot of chair time with the patient and the laboratory formed bite blocks.
A customized wax rim can be formed by using the
Papillameter and the Alameter, by the
laboratory ,called the E.C.B. (Esthetic Control Base) The E.C.B. saves
chair time and is individualized for each patient. The E.C.B. is the first
step in establishing the new denture plane of occlusion. The E.C.B. also
gives better esthetics and stability to the new dentures.
A integral tool in creating the most natural Geneva 2000? aesthetic results. The Rimformer allows the operator to use the Alameter and Papillameter measurements from the doctor to melt wax while creating a working wax bite block or rim called an Esthetic Control Base (ECB) that has:
* All of the above can be pre-established in the lab with the use of the Rimformer.
