Set-Up Wax
This set-up wax was orginally developed over thirty
years ago by Dr. John P. Frush. The properties that make this
wax superior and important for the Premium Denture are its ability
to prevent occlusial charges during the try-in appointment. Most
set up waxes soften slightly during the wax denture try-in with
the patient. This causes a loss of vertical dimension, centric
occlusion and centric relation. These changes can cause a denture
to fail.
